Bleargh... So tired...
Made this as a portrait for an account at RP-Haven, a website for stories and so forth for the Shadow Council server on World of Warcraft. I can't honestly explain how this happened, and I went through two cans of Mountain Dew, three cups of coffee, eight pipe bowls' worth of tobacco and spent the whole night working away at it so it'd look neat. There was a ton of referrence thrown into this, mostly screenshots I took earlier of the character to get the angle of his head how I wanted it, as well as the lighting and all. Other bits included looking at elephant tusks, old people, old tribespeople, old elephants, the troll who lives in my attic... ...Ultimately, I stuck to the way that WoW Trolls look. Moreso than I wanted to with the nose, but worrying about all the little features as I built everything up did that part in, I'm afraid. Anyway, I like the outcome, and it's a neat little picture. Enjoy. (Here's where I put the disclaimer that none of this is mine. WoW, Shadow Council, Trolls of this sort and unfortunately Nokinbu himself are all property of Blizzard Entertainment) |
